Ingredients

  • 250g boerewors
  • 1 small sliced onion
  • 30g butter
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 hotdog rolls
  • 30g fresh rocket
  • Mrs Ball's Chakalaka Chutney

Directions:

1. Fry boerewors in pan over a medium heat +- 3.5 minutes each side. 2. Fry onions over low heat with butter and brown sugar until caramalised gold brown. 3. Slice open hotdog rolls, layer with fresh rocket & caramelised onion, then add boerewors and top with Mrs Ball's Chakalaka Chutney.

Chef's tip:Cut your hotdog buns along the top instead of on the side to keep all of the tasty Mrs Ball's Chakalaka Chutney on your Gourmet Boerie roll!
